Maybe I should take mine in also. I do not want to wait 24 hours :p

Mine not rica'd yet and i spoke to @telkomza on twitter and they said take it into the shop,but the box specifically says "Do NOT RICA AT TELKOM STORE"

I phoned them an hour ago . Guy took the sim details and told me it should be active 2 -48hours

I'm confused and somewhat sad too... :mad:

Did application on the web, spoke to very helpful lady, went through the awful questionnaire, got Approved!
Confirmed banking details, DO date, delivery address etc.

That was 1 week ago.

Got called by Telkom for a follow-up. Lady checked the status of my application and delivery.
Back Office did not approve my application. Huh? :confused:

What now? Credit is clear. I fall smack in the middle of an LTE zone. Existing client.

i dont know if i should create a new thread or not.i have a question related to the b315 modem.

I received my LTE modem today for smart home LTE unlimited. My sim is RICA'd and activated and there are signal bars present but i cant connect to the internet as it says "disconnected" all the time.

I've been through 4 call center agents in the technical department and none of them could help me.

Ive already tried resetting the modem and creating new connection profiles but it hasnt helped. what should i do?

sorry if its s silly question, did you click on the up and down arrow button below Disconnected? grey if its off, green if its on.

my b315 modem did not want to forward DNS to the LAN for some reason at first, it does now.

Just got active now and my speeds decent so far.... No Aerial install yet

Connect the aerial and start testing. Figure out where the tower is closest to you using the telkom map and point in that direction. Moving the aerial about.. do multiple speed tests. You will be suprised the spots you will get awesome speeds.. the telkom tech installed mine but i moved it and found a better spot.. improved my speed by 20Mb.. thats a huge jump. He spent like 90 minutes finding the best place..
