adsl3g, yes I got it.
bwana, no I went for this one. It's the generic DDR2 stuff. Cost £50.50 (it went up in the meantime). It appears to me that if you search for memory by manufacturer you get the same module as this one - cost about the same. But if I search by manufacturer there isn't a single 2GB dimm option - only a 4GB kit.
MacBook sure flies with 2.5GB memory!

I have a 80GB HDD in my macbook, but i'll probably need to upgrade in a year or 2.

Easy as pie. You take off the little cover where the memory sits - the hard disc is to the side. Slide it out, unscrew it from the caddy (you need a torx for this), screw the new one in and slide it back in. Took about 5 minutes.
