Makro Sinotec Full HD Special

Updated, but the exercise was useless.
Will wait for Game releasing their Specials tomorrow 12h00.

You don't have to be that specific. Just say the quality was not as good as you expected and you want to look around for another set in the store.

Listen, i'm not saying buy it just to take it back - I meant for people really interested in buying one - that you CAN if you are not happy (Also, still not 100% sure - so ask)

Don't buy it just to have an LCD for 2 weeks for free....

as to your question - thats like ordering a meal, and returning it wanting your money back, not because it was re-cooked food or something, but just too much food for you to eat. it doesn't work that way dude...

however, when i bought mine, they guy told me I can return it for ANY reason whatsoever, so yeah - you COULD probably say that :p
 
This whole LCD thing is extremely confusing as is the range of prices. You can get a 60Hz Sony 40" for about 11K and a 120 Hz machine also Sony 40" for about 18K. Is the difference in refresh rates anything to get excited about?

If it's slower, you may get motion blur, that's why the higher ones are better.

if you are a millionare though - have fun with your R45,000 TV Set. i've got basically the same for 1/5 the price unless you want to start looking at pixels with a microscope

Have you ever connected your PC/laptop?

I know Keeper says LCD and Full HD is the way to go if you want to use the screen for games.
But I wanna know what the quality will be like if I would one day decide to play my only 2 games on the screen. Tiger Woods PGA Tour and Solitaire :o

Sinotec LCD 32inch in the bedroom and Pvision 42inch Plasma in the lounge... The Pvision is 3 years old and slowly dying, want to replace it with either 42inch or 47inch Sinotec plasma...

Can connect laptop to my Pvision plasma if you want?
 
Thanks. That would be nice. I highly doubt I will connect the laptops to the screen. But just for interest sake would like to know what the quality would look like.

Maybe just to watch some email video clips/photo's on the screen when the family comes over instead of on the small laptop where everybody is standing on top of each other and hanging over me to see the screen.
 
Any other feedback from Sinoprima regarding joining the site as a rep?

I had some replies from Sandy and she took it up with their GM. They are already subscribed to the forum and viewing the thread. She will confirm with them and then get back to me whether they will start getting active in discussions and answer questions from us.

Mods asked nicely to change their title to Sinotec Rep if they decide upon joining the community.
 
Connected to the Sinotec LCD it appears to be out of focus. Changing screen resolution and refresh rates doesn't make much difference.

Connected it to the Plasma and was worse, more in focus but poor brightness and contrast. Old set may be the problem, connected VGA to RGB on Plasma, VGA to VGA on Sinotec...

Sure with a bit of fiddling one could improve the set up..

Any suggestions?

Edit: Okay connected my laptop to Sinotec via HDMI to HDMI and the picture quality is significantly better bordering on sublime but still out of focus!!!! Or perhaps it's my eyes....
