I have the bottom-of-the-range MyMTN Home package (10 Mbps). It's a new month, so there shouldn't be any throttling due to FUP.
My internet seemed really slow, so I did a speedtest on my laptop and mobile using both MyBroadband and Ookla. I'm wondering why the results are so different between the two, and then between my laptop and my mobile (Samsung Note 10). I wasn't actively doing anything on the internet while doing the tests.
Laptop
MyBroadband: Ping=53; Download=2.33; Upload=0.73
Ookla: Ping=47; Download=1.01; Upload=10.56
While the numbers change slightly when I re-test, the fact that Ookla always shows slower download and massively higher upload, remains. I fired up my previous laptop and ran the two speedtests and got similar results to the current laptop.
Mobile:
MyBroadband: Ping=40; Download=1.85; Upload=9.96
Ookla: Ping=58; Download=7.71; Upload=9.94
Please explain as if I'm an 8-year-old! Thank you.
