This is going to sound ****ed up, but I could handle that because life throws us curveballs like that. I have been there before in my life with a g/f who was in a bad accident and basically lost the use of her one leg, and she had a lot of scars. That relationship was ended by her as she wanted to move overseas and I did not.

But full well knowing that I don't like a certain body type and to keep pushing it up a notch? She in actual fact always use to criticise woman who built muscle as it was not feminine in her eyes and guys could never possibly find it attractive...….and now she is that woman.

Ahhh. So its cool when life throws you a curveball. Then you are Mr. Sympathetic. But when you actively try to be healthier, you are crossing the line. :rolleyes:

And P.S. That girlfriend with the one leg, you KNOW you wouldve left her before long. She probably knew it too, hence dumping you.

Actually yes. I am well like at work and often have lunch in the canteen with other staff members, male and female, and she has seen it and not minded

Actually no, I proposed to her 2 years after the accident and she turned me down because I had no interest in leaving SA. So don't tell me I know I would have left her. I actually wanted to have children with her

No I married more than a body type and as I have said both have changed, the person and the body.

Her personality has changed so much over the last year I feel like I do not know her anymore, and yes we all change but she has made a literal 180 here

As I mentioned earlier, I dont think your wife should be married either.

But asked yourself this.....can this thing be saved? Are you willing to accept her muscle body and she is willing to change her attitude? If either is no, you know where this is going. Get it over and done with.
 
If you not happy and have tried. You have no siblings.
Get out before you do have children or do further damage to yourself and her.

Can the marriage be saved? Possibly, with a lot of effort from both of us because neither of us are innocent.
Am I willing to accept her body as it is now? As it stands of today, I can but if she keeps building then no
Can she change her attitude? I cant answer that, only she can

How long must a couple try for? I know some couples that have fought and fought to make it work and 10 or 12 years down the line are happier than ever.

When must you draw a line in the sand? I obviously do not want to hurt her more than she would already be hurt, but she never took my feelings into consideration when asking for a divorce...…that was the hardest longest and worst 3 months in my life when everything was in limbo. I fought so hard to keep it alive and succeeded only to have a marriage where there seems to be no common ground anymore. Like WTF happened
