Mass Effect: Andromeda

Back then I only played on PS3, and my preorder was for PS3. Traded the game after less than a week in my possession. It was heartbreaking to even try play it - everything that made me love ME2 was not present. The biggest issue by a million miles were the controls though, as they were most certainly not identical to ME2. They felt unnatural and were a constant struggle for me, whereas in ME2 they were second nature and I never consciously thought about them. I spent a lot of time in ME2 on PS3 being impressed by the visuals, and in ME3 the visuals made me want to throw up.

If a game controls badly I can't play it. It's why I also ditched Watch Dogs & Dragon Age Inquisition very quickly - I cannot enjoy myself if I have to fight with the game to control my character.
I guess that sort of explains it. There were lots of complaints about the ps3 version during the early stages. It played flawlessly on Xbox 360. Maybe give it another shot, especially if you're playing on pc now. All the hitches are probably patched out. And be sure to use the Xbox controller...

I agree, I'm also very quickly to put something down that I need to fight to enjoy.

Must have been a bad port for the PS3.

I played the PS3 version. Although to me there were slight differences compared to ME2, it wasn't that much of an issue. I finished the game quite fine.

Watched a bit of the ign play last night on a console, wow did the graphics look bad. I'm sure ME3 looked better on pc when I played it.

My first thought too from the videos I've seen. Looks like a game from years past. And lip sync is all over the place.

Did you watch the video above? I think it looks pretty good. No complaints so far.

It'll be out on EA Access on the 16th, so hopefully we'll get some more views on what it's like.

That looks much better than the IGN one. Any idea what platform that was? IGN was a xbox one I beleive. Reminded me of the whole battlefield 3 debacle on xbox vs pc for graphics.

That sucks, i really hope this dude is wrong in what he's saying :( lets see.

honestly, i'm more looking forward to the multiplayer. I still play ME3 multiplayer today, so much fun. but yeah, that is not cool bioware. not cool.

Characters painfully tell you what their personalities are, rather than, say, having one. (“I tend to live the way I work: kinda “feel it, do it.” Not a lot of close ties, no real sense of purpose.” – Actual dialogue someone wrote on purpose.)
This is what happens when ticking the SJW boxes becomes more important than character development.

I'll bet if an asteroid was discovered headed towards earth you would find a way to blame SJWs for that too...
