I can't believe the employees at SANRAL that thought all this up. Don't they have friends and family that need to use these roads?

They probably charge their friends and family to use the bathroom when they come over to visit. :rolleyes:
 
As for big business, Avis and the like, one of the BIGGEST disappointments with all of this has been them buckling to pressure from government. Read that as saying f@@k the paying public, the gravy train is where our money comes from.

OUTA said when they were trying to get fund together for court action to appose this BS E-tolls that none of the big businesses they approached was prepared to offer support.

I say NAME AND SHAME THE SCUM, and BOYCOTT THEIR ASSES for being complicit in this SCAM!

They have no shame.

I have signed or acknowledged nothing, entered into no legal contract anywhere, assuming I agree is not legally binding, surely not?

Not sure what the misunderstanding is - there is an Act of parliament and amendment Acts to that, that empower scamral - it's the Law. How invoicing and fees due is recovered is purely administrative and won't be written into the Act.

From what little I read just now, the Act makes no distinction between a physical and an electronic toll. When you use a toll road with a physical toll booth you don't sign any T&C's - you liable nonetheless.
