What a coincidence - Showerhead signs eToll bill to derail judgement - who saw that coming?

This is disingenuous because Zuma previously indicated that there was a problem with the bill, now all of a sudden he thinks it is OK?
But I am still of the opinion that we will not see e-tolling anytime soon. They still aren't ready in practical terms to handle the volumes of billing that will have to take place.
If they stupidly decide to go ahead with this then...
1) You can expect a further constitutional court challenge to this e-tolling bill and
2) massive headaches around the revenue collection mechanism for e-tolling which may just result in the entire system's downfall.

I just made an additional donation of R250 to OUTA's cause.
I have a feeling Maimane and DA is liking this.
The black middle class make up something like 17% of Gauteng's population. A decieve kingmaker block that ANC is now pissing off enough that they could shift to Agang or DA.
If the DA is liking this, they are very short sighted. If (and thats a big if) the DA wins GP by promising to do away with tolls, they'll lose the next elections for not keeping that promise (ANC: "They da promised to remove tolls, but they are still here! they are liars!").
Or DA can switch them off and win Gauteng again![]()
