Would it make legal sense to say in one breath "you've got 60 days to pay" and "we can arrest you after 7 days" in another?

Because of the staggered discounts, what purpose does the grace period serve exactly? Do we get a greater discount if paid within this period?

Section 5 of Gazette 36912 goes into detail about it. Almost makes it sound like they're doing you a favour by taking your money.
 
They are forcing it, the DA is at mercy of the courts, Zuumbie bought all the judges.

Agree it doesn't make sense to be summonsed if you still have an allowance still to pay.

National Road Traffic act section 52:

If the postal or street address, proxy or representative of the title holder or owner of a motor vehicle which is registered in terms of these regulations, changes, such title holder or owner shall, within a period of 21 days after such change, notify the appropriate registering authority of such change on form NCP, MVR1A or RLV as shown in Schedule 2.

A fixed address with street deliveries. They can send post all they like nothing is going to reach my house.

Or what if I rent? and move next week?
This Etoll thing. They are just forcing it trough. I am public transport. I Transport public. Free of charge. I am even a bigger community service than paid for operators.

Of course not. But the point is that the provision is there for eNatis to always have an up to date address for the owner of each vehicle.
 
3rd December, I will be heading to the airport that day, OR Tambo..

I'm hearing 3rd December the systems start collecting toll monies.. this correct?
