I am not sure what you mean but what's the point of unplugging anything when loadshedding starts? Leave it plugged on the wall, when loadshedding starts enjoy the backup power.so i should unplug when loadshedding starts?
You've put it on 20A right? It will probably be at 100% by then.... And you can't do a 24hr charge now regardless so ya I'd use it. What are you gonna run on it?the packaging said do a full 24h (got around 12pm today)
it is now on 75%
i have loadshedding at 20h00 today for 2.5 hours
do i use it or not?![]()
the wife got this earlier from work
it is showing 25%
we are due for load shedding at 20h00
it says charge for 24 hours before use
what do i do?![]()
how do i check this?Lead acid so not be that low? Esp when bought new (Store at low level kills em)
Hope its lith ion cause that gets stored at 30% so 25 means its old but still ok.
how do i check this?
You have to ask yourself this question.I have no idea about 20A
It'll be 2 routers and about 3 PC's with dual screens
i am working backwards. my wife's work has gotten us hereYou have to ask yourself this question.
Do you really need 3 computers running during load shedding?
Don't you want to rather just keep your wifi router, 1 pc, some LED lighting going during load shedding and keep your battery/batteries sitting healthy hardly dropping any voltage at all? That's what I do and therefore have been enjoying many many years out of my lead-acid batteries.
ideally this is not my solution
aaaah okay, I never read the previous posts.i am working backwards. my wife's work has gotten us here
i now need to know what i am working with
ideally this is not my solution
Seems the load shedding schedule has changed. It is mine...
Whole area is in darkness right now, yet my wife is watching TV and I am yapping on MyBB with music in my ear and we have lights.![]()
I dont think Eskom even knows the F they are doing... my schedule started an hour late....Seems the load shedding schedule has changed.
Well now they are doing 2 hour schedules in Joburg, I wasn't supposed to be hit today, until the new scheduleI dont think Eskom even knows the F they are doing... my schedule started an hour late....
Edit: Looking at the other threads here it seems Im not the only one finding LS schedule going for a wack
That's a lot of power... It won't last long on that...I have no idea about 20A
It'll be 2 routers and about 3 PC's with dual screens
Use it, but keep an eye on battery level and switch off at 50%. Then give it a full charge when power comes back. Hopefully batteries are ok because 25% charge is very bad to be left at for any length of time.the packaging said do a full 24h (got around 12pm today)
