Mede8er - useless?

I have an old (5years+) Mede8er lying at home.
Got wifi, rj45 and USB connections, also takes a sata HDD (removed).
Are these things still worth something?

It's just lying in a cupboard at home.

Not totally useless, it plays most of the mainstream formats, but is losing out to some of the newer formats, I dunno if their firmware updates have kept pace.
But it makes a nice media streamer for a family member.

I just donated one to a charity shop. I am sure someone will be happy with it

Mine still chugs along, work well for their age, only gripe about playability is .265 , otherwise plays everything.

Yeah, they were worthwhile back in the day when they first launched. I've owned a few over the years but with the onset of Rasberry's, Chrome casts and the like, they pretty much redundant now...
