Afrihost says they are waiting on MFN to make "changes", but seems to be getting worse everyday. Local speeds are lekker

Does anyone here have issues with Metrofibre where it drops at random times for about 2 minutes?
International speeds are good on my side (Gigago/MFN).Having issues on MFN for past 4 weeks now. On Afrihost 100Mbps Pure Fibre (110Mbps lockdown promotion) -

It's pretty much certain that Afrihost is talking ****. You wouldn't get 110 Mbps local if there was a problem at MFN.
+1 - Apparently they (AH) are working closely with MFN to resolve this issue (for 6 weeks now). I contacted MFN directly and within a few hours had a reply that everything looks good on their side. Maybe Gian can't steer that repair ship after all
Crazy part is that this forum seems to have more answers from users other than AH. That guys that calls himself @AfriGuy should change his handle to @LostAfriGuy. Selective responses.
Thanks. What has your experience been of Userverse and have they helped in any way? As you are no doubt aware of the larger than normal property sizes here in La Mercy, did MFN waive any extra trenching fees for your property as insinuated by Vodacom?Hey ladies & gents

In any case I'm waiting for an openserve install and then cancel with MFN.Any idea if Openserve in the same areas as Metro were affected as well?
Is Openserve reliable?
Really becoming an issue with Metro, need to consider another fiber provider

You are very lucky having multiple FNO's available. Sadly most of us is on the one FNO for the area thing, so we are kind of stuck with only MFN. The pricing doesn't make this outage any better, makes a person wonder why they are as expensive as they are and don't have any redundancy in place to prevent issues like these. In any case I'm waiting for an openserve install and then cancel with MFN.
Openserve is 999 for 100/50 and metro 859 for 25/25
