What the hell. This place isn't the same without Laurence and hasn't been since he stopped posting as frequently.

He also helped me countless times with stuff like getting a lost fibre installation order back on the system and updates regarding service provider stuff. Always such a great guy.

What a loss. RIP :(

My adsl went down once on a Sunday and I logged a support calls. Lawerence asked for my support ticket number and 2 hours later my line was working again.

I never met the man in person, but all my dealings with him painted a picture of an exceptional man, with an exceptional family. Strength to his loved ones, and thanks for that bottle of whisky...

Wow, that's a bit of a shock!! Sincere condolences to the friends and family of the deceased!

RIP meneer!! That's a huge loss to myBB. MickeyD did nothing but add value to this forum!

Lawrence was my go-to guy for a bunch of stuff. Dude was insanely well connected. He seemed to have friends and connections at Telkom, the police, Neighbourhood Watch etc. He knew the best spots in PE for various things and was involved in local charity drives etc. He seemed to know everyone and everything worth knowing. This isn't even accounting for what a nice guy he was, which shows how his absence is a loss on so many levels.
