Hi guys hoping someone with some more tech smarts than me can assist!

I am looking at the following item on Takealot

Eaton 3S Mini UPS.

So I have fiber at home, and that means 2 devices - The Fiber router (12V) and the WiFi router (9V)

Does this mean I need one Mini UPS per device?
Assuming it has sufficient battery power, is there a way I could use 1 Mini UPS to power both devices?

Thanks in advance guys!

No, but you need a unit with multiple outputs which can output the different voltages, which the model you listed doesn't seem to have (on the picture I can only see one output).

Like this one: https://www.takealot.com/gizzu-30w-mini-dc-32wh-ups/PLID90290563 - it has 12v outputs and a separate 9v output.

I bought this one last year - it was R470 then. Works well, I'd buy again. It comes with a splitter and will run both boxes.

They are spot welded and connects with a plug to the board.

Just bought one just to f around with....

Would be really cool of someone made one with user removable/replaceable 18650 batteries.

^ Sooo much this.

Closest I can get to something like this is a Nitecore LR60 but would really looove a proper battery bank that can take user replaceable 18650's or even better 4+ x 21700's

ie: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Charger-Portable-Rechargeable-Included/dp/B094FF9P58/ with 9/12V DC out.

Our Netogy 100W UPS is currently on special:

R999 is a bargain price.

Bought 1 of these units for someone

https://www.takealot.com/10400-mah-mini-ups-router-ont-cctv-backup-power-supply/PLID73772698

Also working like charm after loadshedding it dropped 1 Light on the display powering a Vuma ONT and a Mikrotik hAP ac2.

Batteries can be replaced it uses 4 x 18650 cells

Best option is a Ratel, Gizzu or Netogy if you want more ports to power more devices

PS Thanx for this.

Got mine today, already did a short test and works great, can even charge my phone if I ever wanted to.

Sidenote: Can also power a Raspberry PI.

Suspect most of the complaints are from people that dont check +/- pin settings on devices:

The Unit is Center Positive.
