Have any of you every bought something from https://www.pclinkshop.co.za/

They Show amazing prices, but when you add the item to your cart it adds VAT "again" where it clearly shows "VAT Included". Then when you phone to confirm the product Details or stock level then its incorrect or out of stock?

Clearly if the description Shows a certain specs of GPU a 1060 in this case, but it only had a 1050 in the unit... that is a massive difference. Surely a IT/retail company should be able to show the correct info for their product.. We are not talking about pennies... but 10K - 20k...

Had this with 2 items, a Dell 7577 Laptop and a Asus 14" Vivobook.

Something seems a bit shady....

Site looks shoddy. Links just redirect to the homepage and the website just looks like an amateur developer created it over a weekend (using it on mobile)

In short "Don't ascribe to malice what can be plainly explained by incompetence"

I have bought from them twice before (R45k+-)
Didnt have any issues, that was 1-2 years ago

I bought a hard drive from them the other day. I definitely don't trust them as much as some other stores (to be able to provide support a few years down the road) but I don't think they're shady.

I won't support them again. I bought a SSD from them that died and when I contacted them they just replied with the suppliers contact details. So I cannot buy from the supplier directly but when I have a faulty item I have to contact the supplier.

I had to get a PSU replaced that I bought secondhand and it was still under guarantee. I contacted Rebeltech who helped me find the store that sold it and it ended up being https://www.pclinkshop.co.za/ . So I contacted PC Link Computers and they helped me out. Their support was surprisingly good.
