MS Outlook odd behaviour

So, recently, Outlook has started closing when I click on the minimise button. Nothing else in the office suite does this.

What to do?

Are you sure it is exiting completely, and not just minimizing to the system tray? As far as I know there is a setting that minimizes to the system tray (i.e it disappears from the task bar) once you minimize it

Awesome. In the notification area, the "hide when minimized" box was checked for outlook. Undid that and it's normal again.
