MTN Black Friday Discussions

It's after 12 and my inclusive items have not renewed. Anyone else that renews on the 14th and your inclusive items renewed/didn't renew?
 
How it came up, I was busy getting a couple of dual sims activated. A lady comes in and wants to add 10gb of data to 2 of her contracts. Why you may ask? Her last bill was 30k!! R650 for 10gb of data a month x 2. Told her to wait for the 50gb promo and asked the shop assistant when they were going to repeat the deal. She suggested something might happen over Valentines...

Hoping some good promo's come out today....
 
The 50GB a month deal is valid for the whole month. No need to wait for a special day.

I'm only approved for R300 a month, sigh.
Don't even want the phone, was hoping for a sim only deal.

Would of been a nice way to finally start building up that credit rating, really kicking myself for missing the previous deals.

I bought the deal for R 275.00 a month (if I remember right). Got a Huawei P8 Lite with the deal. Sold the P8 Lite locally for R 2500.00 and I am enjoying my 50 GB per month

You sure that's true, what do you need to ask for when going into an Mtn store to get a contract with 50gb?
Can you also get it via the call center?

How much I would love that deal right now.
The CellC GIGA200 and GIGA100 would of still been enough for me, but with the price increases and the horrible network in my area, I need to find an alternative. Unstable unreliable internet isn't worth much.
 
I think dual sim is working now.

They managed to make my main sim the secondary sim and the secondary sim the main one lol

If I dial *141# it shows me 0 minutes or data, but when I check detailed balance it shows the 50gb. This is on main sim I had from november, will check other sim at home.

Please tell me which contact center you dealt with. One of the agents logged a sim swop instead of a dual call activation. So frustrating.

I lost track of departments lol . I think I ended up in Contract department. I phoned at least 10 times today, keep on being transferred and cut off etc.
