MTN expected to unveil new data services

We've received feedback from the PR company organising this event for MTN to explain that the network will in fact not be announcing or launching anything new and that the event will instead focus on their previous "Smartphone Internet Services" packages.

What? So no hope on improved packages?

Silly....

Someone needs to tell them their packages are useless...

This tells me that the services are not that popular if they need another PR event to pump up awareness. Say, did the initial invite then give the wrong impression?

What? They gonna punt these unlimited packages where you pay extra once you have gone over FUP? Bleh.

Took the wind out of my sails as well.

Every online tech media outlet and blog I can think of panned them for it. The members of this forum punished them for it. It's surprising (to me) that they'd be willing to revisit it.

What threw me was this part: "MTN is introducing services to respond to the demand. Please join MTN management to hear about the company’s plans in this space"

What? They gonna punt these unlimited packages where you pay extra once you have gone over [-]FUP[/-] the cap? Bleh.

Fixed :p

An announcement of an announcement.

Yoh. Hectic.

Their uselessness knows no bounds.

Is that the official MTN name "SIS packages", as in SIeS packages?

MTN should employ fewer self enriching MK cadres whose focus is brokering WW3 and the resulting radioactive fallout, and instead employ people that know a thing or two about the cellular and broadband markets.
