Hey Guys, I am getting BAD speeds since Saturday.. Like 1-5kb/s. Do you guys experience the same?

Where you from Dirk? Bellville area was fine over the weekend, worked the whole of the weekend so was staring at my screen most of the time, speed was fine.
Hey ppl. Can you add the uncapped lite package as a prepaid option. Or is it only available as n 24 month contract?
Contract only, if it was available on pre paid as well, most people would not be using this service for more than 2-3 months(As soon as they realize just how bad the throttled speeds can get 1-2KB/s)...Contracts ugh, how else do you think the bastard make their money![]()
4G would not make any sense for uncapped lite, there'd be no difference between 40kBps 3G or 40 kBps LTEAny updates on the MTN Lite speeds? Does anyone know when MTN switches to 4G?![]()

Im wondering if i should get this? How is the downloading once you have been throttled? Is it a good alternative (from me being able to get uncapped as i live on a plot) to download movies/series or play online games?
Cell C data special at less than R9 per GB
Cell C is introducing Giga 20, a 12-month contract promotion that will provide customers with a total of 20GB of data to use each month.
Giga 20 includes a 5GB peak data bundle that can be used from 6am to midnight, and a 15GB midnight data bundle that can be used from midnight to 6am.
The Giga 20 contract package will cost R189 per month and will be available at all service providers and Cell C franchise stores.

I ask about the throttling...I work on Internet 24/7...legal stuff, cases...loads of PDF files etc. and I do hope the browsing's good enough to work though..after throttling
Thx....I think my throttle switch has been activated this morning.....but my browsing is still very fast. I get between 350-500kbps. Is that good?
