Wow, speed still very good :)

Did MTN have a change of heart about the throttled speed?

Same here also throttled and speeds are better then previously once throttled... Maybe they did have a change of heart. I really hope so. Lets wait and see. I've been on This uncapped package since October 2011 so I know not to get too excited just yet. Holding thumbs!

Wow even un-throttled speed seems high.Hope it stays on this speeds

Unthrottled speeds are entirely dependent on location. I get around 10mbps unthrottled at work, 6mbps at parents house and 4mbps at home.

Goeie genade, dis vinnig...

I'm not that lucky but here's my latest, I'm also throttled and the speeds are quite good :)

OK, I see that all three tests was from different servers, first one Sandton, second Midrand and third Pretoria.

Sandton:

Midrand:

And again Pretoria

Wow, obvioulsy I'm not throttled anymore. These are the fastest speeds I have had since I got this contract. Hopefully I'll get the same speeds at home later on.

Does anyone know if MTN are doing repair / maintenance work on some of the servers / towers? A work colleague of mine who lives in Monument Park, Pta East, has had quite a bit of trouble with his speeds / latency / connection the past week or so.
