@mweb guy Please help I have a 1MB line and I can barely do anything online

Oh look its flippin past 0200 in the morning and suddenly I am allotted some bandwidth, very generous. I would crawl closer to thank you but my knees are so raw it hurts to much, But thx for half of what I am paying for, in the dead of night.

Sneeky, I moved to Axxess after 2 years with Mweb. 10mb uncapped account for R150 more than your 4mb Uncapped account with Mweb. Do yourself a favor and move, obviously after they released their new packages they decided to hard throttle you to 4mb even if your line speed was faster. However it seems they completely annihilated hundreds of people's accounts and now want to blame you or Telkom for it. Do the right thing, move.

I'm almost getting 20% of what I pay for, in the dead of night. I suppose I should be happy.
My bandwidth monitor says way less, but I am trying to take a positive outlook here.

Had to change to my MWEB account last night at 12 to do some downloads cause Webafrica was limited.. Was crawling at 10-20 kb/s
This morning I had to change back to Webafrica to download another update on League of Legends and to watch a Youtube video! Mweb was so slow, couldn't watch in 240p

Good Morning oliverwww, please note that your line is currently syncing at 3072 kbps and you attenuation is at 61dB. This will have a direct impact on your experience.
Please provide me speed test results with your MWEB and with the telkom guest account details.
Please also provide me trace route results to mweb.co.za and bbc.co.uk and I will log another line fault.

We have no reported outages on our network at the moment.
Please change your username realm to @mweb.co.za and let me know if that makes a difference. I would like to see if connecting with a new IP helps...

And I mean you guys are a really great ISP, but this last week it has actually been embarrassing for you (MWEB) as It isn't just me experiencing this issue? I will log into my MWEB account later and provide you some traceroutes etc.. But when you know that you can't watch a 240p video on a 3mbps line, then it's just plain sad! I've had a really bad week so far and this is just making it worse!
Is there anything you can do? Reset the port/profile? Anything?! Please

oliverwww are you testing with a Webafrica capped account?
This line is definitely problematic oliverwww, remember the conditions at your exchange may not be the same as it was initially.
