You're an abuser and should hang your head in shame.

You probably also beat your wife and cheat on taxes.

Shame on you.

Afternoon Nakedhouse, you are being throttled based on your usage for the last 30days. The limits are based on a rolling average and are recalculated daily.

so if they are based on a 30 day window, and its the 13th of the month and i have used 127.01gb, that means on average to be throttled, you have to use only 10 gigs a day? wow....

You guys are doing what most people i know say and are trying to push away "high usage customers" and keep the old people and those who do not use the internet at all.

It is a rolling window, it doesn't reset every end of the month.

You will have to look at your actual usage for the last 30days to establish what you've moved.

MWEB Guy, mind checking for me if I'm being throttled? I'm unable to log into my account on the Mweb website to check for myself. My Account takes me to the pricing section. E-mail gives me a "server error":

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

I tried with IE, Firefox, and Chrome on my PC, and my wife's laptop and get the same errors and problems.

Evening Gimaru, you are not being throttled at the moment.

Which email address are you logging in with? (you can provide me the detail via Private message)

if i was still with mweb, with my current usage, my status would be throttled. So happy with openweb.

This has to be the most ridiculous thing ... asking your ISP if you are getting what you are paying for ... and doing it respectfully???:wtf:

Either this guy doesn't earn the money to pay MWEB or honestly believes their hogwash..... Come on, grow a pair, tell them to get stuffed and get the internet as it was MEANT to be..... unshackled.

Assumptions much? If I get throttled then I'll do something about it. But I'm not, as of yet.

MOrning Gimaru, please see the private message response I've sent you.

I wonder how legal it is to throttle on a rolling 30 day cycle but to bill on a monthly cycle? Also would you then not have to give credit for people that have not reached that threshold. :) Sorry mweb just yanking your chain. have the need to keep the mweb hate alive until I am free of you at the end of November :)

My past two days (1Mbps):

October 14, 2013 - 5367.5 MB
October 13, 2013 - 9363.7 MB

It's been a lot given that I reinstalled windows over the weekend. I am done with my heavy use for the moment.

I guess this does mean that a person is definitely not hit for continuous usage for lets say 48 hours. Definitely based on the 30 day rolling window.
