Are there any 4mbps currently throttled? Proof please.
 
Anyone else's connection running slow? Direct download that I've tested from 2 sites (one being Nvidia driver download) are only running at a bit more than half speed.
Torrents don't work at all.

My friend is also having issues with the torrents, though I'm not sure about direct downloads.

Reset my connection 3 times so far but without any success.

Have you checked to see if you're throttled?
 
Serious question: Are there any other ISP that is worse than Mweb ?

As a gamer, I only have to download about 4 new Steam releases (which is easy to do with all the free to play) on my 1mb to be fall under "abuser". GJ Mweb.

Give the others a little time to bend under the pressure of the additional users and ask the question again. ISP performance is quite a flavour of the month.

Ok wow can't even play games while being throttled talk about ruining the internet experience completly. Other isp's only throttle the download protocols not everything to 256kb

212GB this month, not throttled. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone, this thread would be a lot more popular. You and Necuno are probably the most frequent in here which I find quite ironic.

I’m on 4 Mbit Premium Uncapped, not throttled and did not receive a letter last month. I do have a problem however, seems that they shaped me to death, only MyBroadband and Speedtest.net shows browseable user experience… and certain other local sites. Thought less users, would mean less shaping…

what is your line speed and how much did you do up till the 15th?
 
I wonder how this mass exodus will affect Mweb long term. I for one don't give a damn about them and hope they go bankrupt. I was a happy Mweb customer until this throttling nonsense came out. Now I'm a happy Openwebber and I'm loving my after hours unshaped, unthrottled, uncapped service.

Is that all the time or during peak periods? I only use my line in the evenings.
 
well trying afrihost's free 1gig account -_- since this the only way i can browse the net
 
Anybody in P.E Experiencing slow adsl even mybb is Lagging like hell gmail attachment downloads @ 26kb/s facebook not loading

I found your defensiveness for the MDweeps quite ironic just as I find the same lame attitude for the criminals in this country called the cANCer stupid and ironic!
