After load shedding it seems that many people including myself are unable to connect to any ISP. DSL link is up but internet is down. Some report being able to connect after 1-2 hours, sometimes minutes.
In my experience, before this bout of load shedding started, I would have the worst connection for a few days after the blackout and then the problem seemed to correct itself. Today is the first time this year where this behaviour has started again.
Definitely linked to power failure in my case. Let's hope there's a way they can fix this. Could just be UPS batteries that are failing... I don't know
Im having this god forsaken 'concentrator not reachable' error message everytime power returns from load shedding. It seems im not alone and its really pissing me off. Its bad enough we have to deal with fu*%ed service from eskom and telkom. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, or could actually give me some clear explanation of what this error is/why its happening
Mwebguy i replied to your pm. Is there anychance this issue can be resolved or is this a telkom/eskom tag-team cluster **** and i have to just sit here and suck it up, or move to a first world country i guess. Thats probably the only real solution right?
Hours now and still nothing. Really weird thing is after many attempts to factory reset router and re-enter details once or twice internet returns for maybe 15s. Then it dissconnets and when i look back at my router settings somehow my account details have been replaced with someone else account. How is this even posible? It is an account ive never seen before or entered into the router

There was a Telkom authentication issue, last night.

Connection went down at 5pm. The router is synced but I can't connect on my MWEB account. It's almost like, my connection dropped and now a timed out condition exists and I can't reconnect due to possibly not being allowed to? Anyway that is what it seems like. Connected on 3G atm, and in My Account settings there is no option to just reset the connection. What gives? Denied on 1st of March? Account is paid and active.
