MWEB Uncapped...Joke!

i was doing fine on my mweb up until today. running a 384 line and was getting 38kbps (if i am correct in saying thats the right one), but thats the download speed one should be getting on a 384 line - confirmed by 3 different sources, so i am quite sure that is correct.

Today i started getting shaped, getting 12 at best but at worst not even 1kbps.....

Interesting....

I don’t really care about all this Kilo grams and Kilo meters. All I want is a stable download. But now Im screwed again with Telkom telling me my area only supports 512:wtf:.
And I was used to a 4 meg where I was staying before(Just Moved). So all I noticed so far is that it is taking a hell of a lot longer to download.
F Telkom!
How bad is this?

You have a 384kbps line and it should do around 38KB/s max..

I have to agree!!!! Mweb is a Joke

Mweb ADSL is CRAP!!!, so let me save you some time, dont use it.
You will buy a 4 Meg account but get just over 38K download speed. and when you call then they are very quick to blame your telkom line.

In my case i did a complete local and international download test, with telkom. I have prove that MWeb cannot provide a 4 Meg adsl solution.
I have cancelled my account, been with MWeb for 6 Hours now.

Utterlry DISGUSTED. I hate their damm sales talk " Oh Yes sir,you will get 4 Meg download speed, we dont use I.S anymore, are now use Seacom and Sat3" Ohh helll, help us.... BULL!!!

Hello, we get it... you've successfully posted (correction, CTRL-V'd) in every single MWEB thread you could find. Now either justify why you're raging in an eloquent, concise and clear manner, with graphics and speed test to prove you're getting jipped or get here. No offence.

I need to make the following statement.
If you were thinking of moving to the MWeb home adsl option, Let me save you some time and frustration.
Dont move the the MWeb home ADSL option!!!!!
The MWeb ADSL option is a shaped option, shaped to the extend that it is not usable.
You will not be able to download your microsoft updates.
You will not be able to browse youtube.
You cannot download from Rapishare.
You cannot join a webex meeting
You will not be able to make SIP calls over this line.
Your VIOP PABX will nto work over this line.

The reason that i can "Cannot" is purly because the line is shaped that you can only us 1-2Kb of your 4Meg line. And this is after business hours, i have to think what they do in business hours.

In a nushell, i have bought a 4Meg home ADSL line, it is completly useless.
MWeb shape this line into the ground,
I had my Mweb aco**** for a couple of hours and then cancelled it. It is useless.

Theres nothing wrong with mweb at all.
