Maybe I should just queue up the entire newsgroup websites, that way I can get 400GB and be happy.I see on facebook that quite a few people are reporting the same - so I guess its one of those things we have to wait for.

Yeh - I also queue up most stuff at night - sometimes I need something for work fast though. I must maybe give MWEB a call and discuss a trial business account for a month, paid for of course, but don't want to pay for two months if its not up to par.

Normally around 150-180gb mark, i could do 400-500gb but i cannot find more stuff.

Besides the Telkom verification process locking in my DSL line at 384k and then having this port recreated and syncing at 512k I have no issues.
I get an average of 70% of the max speed on the 512k line.
Bought the uncapped account on Friday 09 July 2010 and started using it from Monday 12 July 2010.
Data used so far is 2033.20MB (upload and download)
Using local mirrors where possible for open source software.

I just pissed my pants laughing. Where is the whine thread on astraweb?
Despite the Seacom fudgeup I'm on 70+ GB downloaded for the month.
Congrats - unfortunately I'm out of noddy badges for trolls.
Oh - and this has nothing to do with Astraweb - works fine on a prepaid account.
My experience with Astraweb speed has also been good. I have noticed the odd glitch with regard to completeness, but seems a re-download of that particular part sorts it out. Pitty others don't offer a "pre-paid" data bundle...hmm or do they, better go check.
