386kb shaped uncapped. Used to work fine though.

So is this outage causing my slow torrent dl, or is it something else?? I don't download heavily at all, this is the first considerable file I'm downloading in months.

hmm then you will have full speed at 1am i think, not sure dont know much about 384kb :P

yeah though atm you wont be able to dl,until seacom is back
 
Tried something else, and it's downloading at full-ish speed. But the torrent is going at 0.1kb/sec with 20 seeds. Just hope that's related to the Seacom outage.
 
Ok so everything is fixed, but my latency to the England EU Battleping Server is still 25-30 ms higher then normal. Also seem to be getting some packet loss. I hope something is still wrong because it was better before this happened :(
 
I am still having problems with international browsing, takes almost a minute to load a simple website and anything else just will not load at all. been like this for a week and trying the different DNS settings did not help.

I'm getting terrible packet loss to the World of Tanks EU server. Connection will be fine @ around 250ms ping. Then it will skyrocket to 999 (presumably above this) with the lag light showing red. I then switch to a WA account and its like flipping a switch. No ping problems, no packet loss.

Anyone at Mweb care to tell me whats up?
 
And here it starts again ....... the mini freezes where sites timeout, one drops from gaming and TS, downloads freeze. Is something about to break again?
 
And the news server back to half line speed ..... something bad is a coming, amen!

Are any of you still experiencing any issues with your connection?
If so please PM me your account details and I'll look into this for you from my side.

Also I'm not aware of any issues at the moment on the news server.

hello mweb, do you guys think there will be more fees for the midrange uncapped now that telkom is boosting 512kps to 1mb?

aka will 512k uncapped package get free upgrade to 1mb package :P

Not unless Telkom drops IPC pricing. MWEB will just release a new, more expensive package.
 
nice on mweb website they already have 1mb package, for r369 a month thats about R70 more then 512k, seems decent price :)
