torrents are going at 4kb/s.where is my 400kb/s i get in the morning

Are you only having trouble with torrent speeds?
I was getting my full 39kb/s on 384kbps until a short while ago, and now speeds are dropping to about 20kb/s and fluctuating up and down constantly across the board regardless of where I'm trying to download from.

Hi, just did a torrent check in Cape Area using 4 mbp line with 4 meg mweb account. Results below :

Link not working, Go to the photo, not the thumb, right click on full photo and select "copy image URL", then use that link instead.
Again it shows the JHB experience disadvantaged as compared to the Cape.

At last i got it right. Was getting about 200KB/s whilst testing.

Meanwhile ... with my new Telkom 9Gb account I am able for the first time in the last year to actually watch Bloomberg HD live TV !

I don't use torrents. I imagine it's a shaped line, although I don't see why there should be these slower speed issues often these days when trying to download a file. It can be fine for while and then it's slow for days / weeks and then runs normally again.

Is your MWEB account a shaped account; as HD streaming would buffer on a shaped account (Even though we do identify streaming as hi priority traffic). Can you not watch TV at all on the bloomberg website?

yep,my upload speed was even more then my download speed a few minutes ago.lots of seeds and good trackers,other people on the torrent are having great speed except me.also having 200+ ping on bfbc2 (with nothing downloading in the background)
maybe it will improve tonight because i really hoped that this download would be done by 9AM and it's already 01:40 PM and it still has 20% to go.i guess 11gb in 26hours isn't too bad.
