I see Zord and matshelane are trolling in here complaining about line speed after probably downloading "hundreds" of gigs this month...

My my but you really are pretty dof to enter a thread without reading any others. If you bothered to read you'd see my average usage per month is only 8 Gb ... yet these idiots have throttled and shaped it to such an extent that I cannot connect anymore to the servers I use on a daily basis and despite numerous promises to resolve this nothing has happened.
Now go finish your prep for school tomorrow.

I don't seem to notice anyone in cape town having the problems you guys are having! Is it possible it's an issue with there POP that side?

I did say "probably" another words just a guess... Anyways stop trolling the thread and just move to another isp. Also strange and ironic you bring up age as i would have to say you have the least maturity out of all the posters here.

How can bringing up age be ironic ? Do you even know what it means ? And for your juvenile comment to hold any water you would have to have read all the posts here by every poster . Now go play.

Lol how dumb are you that you dont understand my point about the age?

Also "mr school priciple" or "forum boss" (those were your words right), are you are telling me i need to read 485 pages of posts before im allowed to comment. You must be on drugs.

I said school "principal" not "principle." Do you even know the difference ? You can comment all you like but you'd have to read all the posts ( a lot more than 458) before you can offer any kind of rudimentary generalisation about age , as opposed to the wild sweeping generalisations, circular arguments and illogical conclusions you currently draw from reading a few lines. Get it yet ? Duh !
 
Really battling tonight can barely stream youtube vids. Signing into my GMail account took (much) longer then usual. Durban.

I never brought up age at all. I merely suggested you go finish your school prep. You drew your own conclusions.
Don't worry... there's no shame in being over 20 and in Grade 8 ....
 
Right. I am going to call M-Web on their bluff.

M-Web Guy, please can you PM me a temporary uncapped, unshaped M-Web account. I have reset my ports with Telkom, I've reset my M-Web account and yet I am still downloading at less than 1/4 my line speed.

I will run a test on the shaped and the unshaped account, and post the results here. Let's see if it's the shaping or if it's just our "malfunctioning lines" that Telkom seems to be issuing en masse.

Alternatively, if someone else has another 4Mbit account I can run a test on, I'd really appreciate some temporary login details so I can run the same test on the same line and post some results. PM me.

My son just wanted to stream a video Yu-gi-oh from here

It is so sad that it buffered for 3sec+ every other 2sec and that at 10PM at night. It is just a continuous pain in the rear. I realy give up. Before , in the Mweb golden days, my son streamed the same site and content with very little buffering if any on his own PC whilst I am gaming on PSN and my PC was busy downloading ...... all at the same time.

I also played KZ3 on PSN and it disconnected from the game twice due to lag.
