Afternoon Tom242, are you only encountering browsing problems with your MWEB account?
 
Hi MWEB Guy, my download speeds have also been very erratic since this morning, between 50-80 KB/s on a 1mbit line. It used to be over 100 before now. Also I keep getting disconnected from CoD Black Ops multiplayer, it's quite frustrating, is there some network issue going on?

Afternoon TJ99, are you running torrents? Do you have a network? How many PC's connected to your network and are there any active connections at the moment besides yours?

They are a bunch of guys that really do no good service to Mweb. They called me a few days ago and made promises of investigating my issues with promisses of a technician that will call me and I never had any feedback since. I's a Mweb joke and time stalling technique.

This is the "service" they are selling.

Its a joke! That 9,156 KB was attained struggling for more than a month now.

yes...have not tried the MWeb account again...I am actually getting fed up now with this erratic behaviour, it has been like this for weeks. and mostly on the weekends when i have plenty of time.

Hi no torrents at the moment, HTTP/FTP downloads and browsing only, I tried graphics drivers, VLC player, etc. At the moment just my main desktop PC, smartphone and a media server are connected to the network. None of them are downloading anything, I always stop it before trying to play any games. It was going at over 100KB/s last night but been slow since I woke up this morning (until I stopped it). Black Ops gives me good pings as always (30-60ms) but just disconnects at random, then says the connection to Steam has been lost.
 
NO!

I can't connect to any except SAIX which runs fine over my Telkom account.

YET!

Change it to a SSL connection and I get full speed.

Do you get disconnected often when playing Black ops?

No, only started today. But then again I've only been playing since Friday. I played several hours last night and didn't have a problem even once.
 
Browsing is pathetic (yes only browsing, that I know of), and making me edgy as hell. No I don't have downloads running, or anyone else connected to the network, or any of that jazz. But I am being ignored, so assuming it is "working as intended."

Have you tried rebooting your router and PC as yet?
