love how mweb just kills an accounts speed for no reason, and the fact that we are paying for a such HORRIBLE service.

also instead of increasing speeds, how about make your bloody back-haul handle the CURRENT load before you start upgrading something you clearly CANNOT handle

Yup, hop on mweb unshaped and full speed. Hop on mweb shaped uncapped and getting 0.0kb/s for me :(
 
unacceptable why is it down again. I think we will cancel our business adsl and home adsl. I will now go for capped internet that's way better than this useless junk. We told the technician a story or to. I can train them some logical sense. Your network is screwed and you need to check it ASAP. Also I'm so fed up with uncapped ADSL in south Africa. The one isp shape you badly and the other goes off or have issues like more than 1 time a week.

You can tell me my network is screwed. come check it for yourself. I studied networking and also know how to set it up. Also my untangle firewall is working fine. you people shouldn't even work there. I'm so mad. Can you please help us. We are paying R2k per month for what this useless untrustworthy junk. We spoken to the technician and he told me no its my network and I was like ja right ok. He doesn't even know how stuff works.


Sorry for raging but ja this is unacceptable. Mweb can't get away with this.

Nope...Still same ol' same ol'. Problem NOT resolved.
 
Internet just went lobsided and fell down the drain again. Can we have some explanations as to why this is an (worryingly) increasing problem lately?
 
I am having exactly the same issues with MWEB, cannot get to local or international sites. It is not my line because I am now on my IS account and it is working 100%

I did I tracert and there is definitely a massive timeout on the MWEB network between the 2nd and 3rd hops.

tired of these 512kbps line speeds when i get home from work (i.e when i use the internet)
 
At what stage does shaping become censorship? For about the last 3 weeks MWeb shaping has routinely killed P2P and some websites' traffic completely. 0KB and time-out errors! The last four days have been particularly bad. Even non-P2P traffic is the worst I have seen from MWeb since the Seacom issues at inception of MWeb's unshaped offering.
