Now please explain to me what will convince me to leave WebAfrica for this kind of speed?

No, im having the same problem Nerhzelok, im in the Gordons bay region , was fine this morning then around 14:30/15:00 went very slow and high latency
 
I seeee.

Well, pings are better on my side, but speeds are still horrible.

Hope it gets better sooooooon. :(
 
Most people here are complaining about the speed and downtimes. I hate to have a service where I have to keep doing a speed test, traceroute or ping test. It should just work period.
 
Mweb worked wonderfully for months, but the last 2 weeks I can't access their news server at all, and no one can come up with a reason why. Even helpful Mweb Guy seems to have given up since I don't hear from him anymore.

The uncapped account works fine on its own, browsing is maybe a bit sloggies, but downloads are running full speed most of the time (especially from the news server which always ran amazingly when it still worked). Video streaming not too fantastic, but I guess you can't expect too much from a 384 line. All in all, it wasn't too shabby since I mainly only do downloads.

But no news server, no need for uncapped. And since I don't know when or if it's going to start working again for me, I'm moving on to something that does. I can't sit and wait for how many more weeks for it to maybe start working, its a waste of time and my money.

I tested WA's and IS's news servers, both work. WA's doesn't have uncapped, so I'll go have a look at Axxess or Openweb.

I was downloading fine off there earlier ... now it just times outs

Update... now does not connect at all

I have noticed a few mentioned that you are having connectivity issues, we have had no reported issue. Please can you monitor and keep me posted.

Just had the same issue on my backup axxess account. I see kimbo is from near Welkom aswell, so maybe our exchange is throwing a tantrum.
