why all the fuss.... I see these "uncapped" accounts are going to be shaped to death... torrent wont be worth the effort!!! has anyone got stats on dl's from mweb etc. on this ?

Same here, maybe it is time to jump ship ! Does anyone know if you can cancel the mweb account without giving them a months notice? I know with a lot of other ISPs, they say that you must give them a months notice but actually, you can cancel whenever you want.
 
So how is gaming on on MWEB uncapped so far? I'm especially concerned about heavy bandwidth games like BC2 or CoD4. I'm still torn between the WA 11GB offer and this one.
 
BC2 perfect.. had lag spikes 3 or 4 times when i tested on sunday day time (but thats pretty normal once in a while imo)
 
This feels very shaped, ill stay sceptical for now, they better not pull a screamer, wont see a cent from me.
 
as for downloading and surfing @ the same time gives me problems. I know it makes sense, that while downloads are going on, you not meant to surf/or the quality/speed of surfing isnt great. but previously with imaginet, it was fine... seems like some QoS went pearshaped after going to mweb.. thought that was locally configured on the router though and not at the isp
 
Sentech tried to do the same with me a few years ago, didnt get a cent, luckely my entire family consists of laywers, pretty good ones too, lol. :)
 
Anyone got some download stats. How much you have downloaded since this went live? Just curious to see if they are picking up the heavy users and throttling them more? :)
