Ive been having a problem with DC++ since sometime last month, my downloads refuse to connect if i dont switch forwarded ports every so often.
And international access going out every friday means someone up the provider chain is cutting corners or has terrible karma.

Every friday?

What are you on about, problems came about on any given day dude. Take off your tinfoil hat buddie.

Iv'e gotta say I'm really impressed with MWEB speeds today. Torrents aren't being shaped into the ground and HTTP is flying. Whatever you guys did on Friday keep it up. Tonight I will test out BC2 and see if pings are better. Kudos to MWEB. :)

jip, not allways the same time and not always as long but it always happens

Firstly its a very stylish hat so im keeping it on, secondly what proof do you have that im wrong? Paranoia does not mean wrong automatically, it just means not automatically right. But all that aside, my DC++ problem started last month, and no its not make believe.

Do I, don't I......Geez I'm so torn. After using Axxess's slooooooooooooooooooooow IS uncapped offering for 2 months I'm really torn on whether I should burn myself trying MWeb out. I've reverted back to splitting local vs int bandwidth but oh so miss the uncapped option!

<sigh>

i'm no agent but i wasnt one bit impressed with the last month, mweb werent even on here, they reappear when it seems to be good again, only good for me since friday, if it remains like this now i will be impressed but i am not thanking mweb for nothing until i see consistency

They throwing a bone to keep the wolves at bay.

I'm not given to language on the forums, but FFS! When you perceive their service as bad, you complain incessantly. When users report an improvement in service, you pass facetious and disingenuous comments. And I just fed a troll.

Don't feed the troll dude

Why are you pinging that IP? I'm getting pings to local sites of 25 to 30 ms :)

games.saix.net is the website.

I ping it because well ummm i am not sure hahaha. With bfbc2 the servers no longer have ip's that i can find. When i ping games.saix.net and it is low my ingame ping is low when it is high ingame my ping is high.

I am very happy with them, i would flippin love them more if my ping could stay at 15ms at night :D.

Cherry on the top!!!

ROFL :) I know *why* you ping it, I just didn't realize that that IP was games.saix.net, that's all :)

O shyte i see where we are getting confused hahaha i thought it showed games.saix.net :D.

Ya so i will check again tomorrow night, i logged into a saix account averaging 150ms then it came right, disconnected from the saix account and bam been low since. May be coincidence but ya haha hope not. Then all i do is log in with saix account and disconnect to get mweb working :D.

Streaming is MUCH better!

I've been very happy with my uncapped 384kbps account from MWeb since I signed up in March this year. The only frustration I did experience was the poor quality of audio streaming from last.fm. Streaming would stutter quite often and the player would buffer frequently. It was bearable most of the time and unusable some of the time.

That's all changed.

I have been streaming audio for about the last 30 minutes *PERFECTLY*. Not a single microsecond of stutter or buffering.

Thanks MWeb :D

Yeah, that IP does not show as games.saix.net here: http://netzome.com/196.43.22.222, but does show via an nslookup:

Code:
$ nslookup games.saix.net
Non-authoritative answer:
Name:   games.saix.net
Address: 196.43.22.222
