Hey guys, wanted to give some quick feedback.

Was having problems with my connection over the last 10 days or so. Mweb Operations got in touch via pm and was super helpful.
It's all sorted out and my internet is up to full 4mb speed again. Appreciate the help.

384 has been solid since i joined in July.the only issues i ever had were the Seacom lines being down but thats totally understandable.

Thank you Mweb...uncapped is glorious :D
 
Hi all

Also want to leave feedback. Was having terrible speeds on my 4meg uncapped line, PMed Mweb with details as requested sorted out within an hour, not getting full speed but a darn lot better than i was getting. Just want to say a big thanks to the mweb rep for all he did, i for one will not just bad mouth mweb in the future. ( I have been a client of mweb for quiet a few years now)
 
See, thats the thing. He puts you on the SAIX realm (the @mweb bandwith) which is not the heavily shaped Seacom traffic. In September with their upgrades they said they are getting rid of their SAIX backup bandwith, lets hope they buy extra capacity now so we dont end up with 20kb/s with no way to get speed. That's my biggest worry with this :(
 
Hmmmm, well I managed to pull both Left for Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2 from my steam account last night, 10Gigs from 2pm yesterday.
 
Well, it's not that bad but works out to about 18 hours for 10Gigs, I still browsed and d\l a few other things as well in that time period. Overall wasn't bad and was happy that the games were ready to play this morning. So for a shaped account I would say it's right, although I'm not sure what steam falls into as a category in the shaping.
 
Browsing is slow + lots of HTTP 500 errors
Still managed to get DoW2 off steam though :P
 
wow.. did mweb suddenly start throttling gaming proxies?... for reals. it's like mweb uncapped is out to get me -.-

darxx can you inbox us with some detail of the problem you're experiencing and we'll see what we can do to assist?

never thought i'd say this, but mweb opz just solved all my problems. ty again. mweb is good to me again. <3
