You do know this has been going on since April?

Funny that, I have only had problems the last couple of weeks, but then I've been on the SAIX network since I joined (July), so had no probs until now. My only problems has been with Telkom, till now.

Pathetic speeds here too, torrents <1kb/s. If its not sorted out by monday I'm cancelling. At this speed I get a better deal with capped.

I Really pissed off no torrents all week. Not sorted by monday I also cancling

I've had almost full speed torrents for the past 2 weeks since I joined Mweb (26-32kBps on a 384 line), today I have sub 5kBps torrent downloads. But I have noticed that I am hosted by CellC when I do a speedtest. I have never noticed it before. Hosting was always done by Neology or Mweb.

Yeah, i will also cancel if Monday morning is bad.

Just saw the guy on Openweb forums say he averages 65-85GB per month.

Last night was terrible according to the bandwidth monitor.

59kbs on astraweb 4mbit line :( , today should be the last day we have to suffer trough this, if not I think its time all the mweb users unite and declare war!!!

Maybe we should all contact Carte Blanche so that they sort mweb out !!! hahaha lol

Still happy on my side....
P2P shaping seems to have gotten gradually less on this side since last night....
Managed to finish all my downloads last night.
This morning did a quick test... Me and my flatmate were able to browse, stream youtube with zero buffering simultaneosly while having torrent download from a 3rd PC (torrents were getting shaped down to 70kB/s).
I could live with performance like this on a shaped account during a peak period.

Hi Beetman

Thank you for the feedback.

Kind regards

M-Web Cape Town gets great speeds to the newlands (cape town) speedtest server

Thats 4mbit account on 10mbit line.

Im thinking most things in Cape Town on M-Web is slow because it gets routed through a limited pipe to JHB 1st then shared with the JHB people over there which is already contended.

Your lucky ,last night I was still getting exactly half of what I normally get , no different from the night before, but youtube did seem to behave a bit better I could actually watch 320p video but nothing more without it buffering like mad, night before it wouldnt even do 320p without buffering :( I should be doing 720p-1080p youtube on my 4 meg line...

PS Mweb you allso need to thank the negative remarks as they are just as important to know whats the current state of your network.
