They have an internet addict package that will give you full speed all day round. Are you prepared to pay R2000 for it?

My connection is excellent but I had to switch the router off and on yesterday morning. Redial / change realm did not work so I figured it must have been an issue with the line. Still going strong now with torrents hitting 440kb/s
 
I've had rubbish speeds since Friday morning, cant get over 45kbps speeds on a 4mbps line...really annoying.

It's everything, web-browsing, http downloads. I don't do p2p or torrents, and I've had full 4mbps speeds since I signed up 3 months ago and suddenly Friday it died, in fact on Friday morning around 7.30am a web page couldn't even load.

Amazing - changed to SSL port on Astraweb, and immediately its running at 350KB/s as opposed to 10KB/s - talk about HEAVY shaping on the standard NNTP port.

Lucky you. Makes no difference for me.
 
I'm running at 430KB/s while uploading at 50... wonder if this cutting of peer links has had anything to do with this since my line seems to be performing amazingly

Hi guys, I seem to be having an issue with news this morning. I keep getting an error stating: Error while selecting group: control *a string of numbers*. Only seemes to have started this morning, otherwise everything else seems fine.
 
My download speeds have been absolutely SHOCKING the last week:( I managed a whopping 1.78GB in 7 days. The torrent is extremely well seeded. Web browsing is ok, HTTP downloads still failing after a few minutes.

My connection does that about once a week, all I have to do is physically switch off the router for a minute or so and then start it again. After that is 440kb/s all the way. Having to switch off the router in order to get ti fixed indicates a Telkom issue to me - so M-Web is the the most awesome win ever.

Everything gone to 5|-|17 again 2day...constant disconnections, slow everything...the usual from MWEB Monday service...
 
Monday and half of sunday have been poor, not sure why. Saturday, was amazing, not sure why slow today. Hopefully will pickup.
