1st time I've ever seen utube shaped this bad on MWEB...'shaped' is the wrong word actually; more like 'obliterated'. Tested now again after shutting down everything else...streaming at <5k...pathetic.

WoW! MWEB is performing really well for me at the moment.

I have a 4mb/s line with a 512kb/s Uncapped Shaped Account but the speeds are hovering at JUST under 80kB/s! (the max I should be getting is 64kB/s)

Thanks MWEB! :D

According to Mweb support.. there is a problem in the cape town area tonight... and they are investigating

At least I am not the only one! ranging from 0.3 - 1.2 kbps download atm. Youtube is UNUSABLE!

What do you mean it's fixed? So why are there so many problems atm!?

The problem he's talking about is fixed? Dunno what else I could mean. :)

No idea why there are so many problems, this is the first one I've had in ages really.

Oh yeah I see it's closed on the MWEB site. I wish I knew what was causing all these slow speeds at the moment. Sigh...

Well, MWEB is essentially offline for me tonight, a whopping 38kB/s on torrents... regular browsing stinks, F5 button is getting worn out. YouTube should consider getting a 'buffering game', like "Sudoku--While-Your-ISP-Gets-Its-Shyte-Together".

Had a decent night with my 512 package on NNTP, average of about 58 kBps, but that only happens from around 11pm or 12.

Same on torrents - after 12 things get good ;)

I am interested in why some people get poor performance on Mweb but great performance from other ISPs? This is (apparently) on all protocols and at all hours of the day. Any theories?
