I had this feeling of de ja vu but then i looked back and realize you just keep posting that :D.

Ask rapid about openweb, seems he is loving it.

Does anyone else get this dead for 1 minute thing i have been getting? It is totally random so i cannot really use another account to test it, the sync light stays on but the net is dead for about a minute.

WTF its been working better lately?
 
No not only downloads, web pages keep timing out, my vpns are not working correctly. The account is practically useless today ;-(

I've had a lot of issues on my account today. Something is definitely amiss.

Steam, many problems logging in, eventually got it to log in after 30 odd retries (not an issue on Steam's side).
World of Warcraft, latency skyrocketed and packet loss/spikes.

Traceroutes and ping tests to international sites are fine, 180ms. At the moment though to make my account useable I've had to resort to VPNs. No, not for mass downloads, just for stable gaming and connections. Seems something has busted with the shaping.
 
Yet another day where I cant even stream the 2min daily fix from IGN.
Switch over to another ISP and its working normally. Ai Mweb what is going on this week???

I do realize that my (384) uncapped account is shaped which = low priority for non essential protocals, but lately my downloads run @ 1KB as apposed to 40KB.

When connecting with my 1GB Afrihost unshaped account, everything works great. So definitely not my telkom line.

Of course it has increased, why else do you think mweb ops is suddenly shoving the "look at you total monthly usage instead of your total dayly usage" BS down our throughts.
 
Shaping has been increased lately.

My speeds have been much lowwer since 2011 began. between 1am and 6am I use to get full speed on p2p, now I get between 180k to 250k. I get about 4 gig a night vs 7 Gig of last year.

Mweb blame telkom, saying its conjestion at the excahange. I know this is not true, as a collegue at work who lives in a different area to me, get the same speeds as me.

I think mweb is just over-subscribed and their is too little bandwidth for all their users
 
same issues as the above posters... 434ms to ping mweb.co.za, ridiculous speeds (30KBps) and cannot log into steam! I've PM'd mweb ops but this has been going on for a week now!!
 
They seem to be having intermittent issues with connectivity lately. Around the same time every day ( 5 PM ) - I get intermittent timeouts to every website, exclusive to MWEB ( 2 minutes working, 4 minutes off )

Clears after an hour or two, and then is business as usual.

I'm not seeing the same increase in shaping, might be because I use rapidshare and other file hosts exclusively.

Please advise if you are still encountering timeouts on every website, as explained in your previous post?

My uncapped 4mb mweb account is basically unusable at the moment, my axxess account works fine, so its not a line problem. Its been like this the entire day, all websites cannot load...
PLEASE FIX THIS MWEB, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
