How does that explain me at the same time experiencing authorisation issues with a third party news server?
 
Hi rambo. I'm not aware of any issues that would have caused this for you - I can confirm that there is an issue with our own news servers at present which our engineers are working on resolving.

*EDIT*

The engineers have redirected traffic to the Cape Town server while they work on the issue. If you are still struggling to connect it is most likely because you are connecting directly to the IP address, which is not recommended. Please change your settings to point to news.mweb.co.za and you will automatically be connected to the most suitable server.

Its just odd that this manifested at the same time as the mweb news server problems.
And i remembered wrong its not authorisation issues its authentication issues.

Edit: NVM just found out that this problem might very well be unconnected.

Unfortunately because news.mweb.co.za gives me a maximum of 5KBps down and mostly currupts the blocks I have no choice but to use the IP.

Actually surprised that news.mweb.co.za works as a server instead of the ip, that hasent happened in months

Please note that we will be carrying out some maintenance in our Cape Town data centre between 00h00 tonight and 06h00 tomorrow morning.

The necessary measures have been put in place to ensure that there is minimal impact on customer service and we do not anticipate any interruption or degradation of network access.

Cape Town users may however experience intermittent interruptions of access to MWEB servers during the maintenance window.

Cant find this info anywhere, what is mweb news server's retention?
And allso someone said the connection count was increased from 2 to 3?

You really should make this info available on your website anyway, and make it easy to find and while ur at it not buried somewhere in your help section.

from 08:00 - 17:00
from 17:00 - 08:00 (breakdown this period if needs be)

It's been 2 weeks now that i'm stuck with high jitter,port recreate helps lower the jitter to 1ms but it's up to 30-200ms the next day.

torrent speed is non existing, and its weekend. There are thousands of seeders on this torrent. Im cancelling my MWeb account in the morning. Gat Vol!
