Mweb Speed?
For some reason I'm getting 0.5MB on my 4MB line. Its always been 100% perfect with mweb, and suddenly on Sat it slowed down? Not sure why.
I'm on 4MB uncapped, with a 4MB line. Line is 100%

For the last few days, I've been having immense problems with Outlook RPC (Outlook Anywhere) with Mweb Uncapped. Three different people in the company, all of them on Mweb, just get disconnects, or mails stuck in the Outbox because it is too slow.
Anyone else getting this?

The mweb news server has a retention period of 200 days and you can use 3 concurrent connections.
(I am not mweb ops btw)... I am long time user of the mweb news server.. and trail and error has helped me get this info ...

That is what I found as well, about 200 days.
Thanks, means im screwed though, if it was 230 Days I would have had a chance.
"gathering information", ud think this is difficult to come by data for MWEB itself....scary thought.

NNTP was flying for me on the weekend - the most amount I've downloaded in one day ever. 
Maybe look into giving a "free trial" a go on one of the pay usenet servers, or consider buying a block of data from Astraweb or someone. It works well, you buy say a 100Gig and simply recharge once it has been used up. No obligations, no recurring billing.
hehehe those "free" trials are never actually free, I would get a account but very much strapped for cash.

how come you are not getting over 400kB/s?
NNTP was flying for me on the weekend - the most amount I've downloaded in one day ever.
Same here for me - first time I went consistently above 80kB/s, even hit 200kB/s for a while!

so are you saying that it is not common to do above 200kB/s while keeping normal waking hours?
what type of speeds do you get during the day?
