Yeah it has to be seacom. My Webafrica Unshaped 1 gig is hitting 180ms on Battleping England Server. That uses Sat-3. As soon as I switch back to my Mweb Uncapped it goes to 300ms, with some extra packet loss thrown in!

Oh dear - from that article:

"MWEB ISP CEO Derek Hershaw explains that they have a new bandwidth management device at their London POP which is not functioning as expected."

New bandwidth management tools are never good for us heavy MWEB users. Plus they changed their T&C's at the start of this month. Get the feeling this may work out badly.

Since last night I cannot access www.filesonic.com but www.oron.com and others work.
I rebooted my router and did a flushdns - still nothing. Anyone else with this problem?

Oron works for me, Filesonic doesn't. Not to sure why.

It's Mweb - they effedup their DNS again, its fine from work and http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.filesonic.com says : It's just you. http://www.filesonic.com is up.

Mweb, please fix and give me another months premium account on FileSonic since I lost out on the final day because of you.

No problems on my side. NTTP is working 100% and I have no issues accessing certain websites. Thanks Mweb!

Looking for other examples - it seems fairly random and 90% seem fine. Would be nice to have the whole internet back please MWEB.

change your dns settings to get working was posted on local usenet website about this.
