I seriously think that MWEB CEO should address these issues with SEACOM / upstream provider - if they cannot provide a stable service - then I would not want to use that service !.
Yes your tough crowd in most cases is the business user and the gamer, and you will be first in the line of fire when your connection fades (NOT SEACOM but YOU !).
Fact is, I am both of the above, I operate on some overseas database and webservers over RDP (transfer a lot of files over SFTP to / from them) this is alot of data (hence my uncapped choice)
Im an avid gamer, and when MWEB dies my gaming time gets cut (I play mostly overseas MMO's)
Sure I can go to another ISP, or get another prepaid account, but this becomes costly - and irritating to say the least.
My manager has suggested investigate a move to MWEB for our bonded lines, and that I should check feasibility. As it stands now, I cannot make that recommendation, as we require stability.
Not the case at the moment unfortunately..
Do you have an ETA on WACS usage ?
