How does one go about cancelling your mweb account? Do you actually have to phone them?(lol)
 
My International and Download speeds have been incredibly slow for the past 9 weeks. :confused:

Telkom have been to my exchange a ton of times and are clueless! :cry:

I'm in Durban and experience these kind of speeds at least every 4 months. :wtf:

06:01 P2P flying this morning !

But come 08:00 it will fall over and die even with the unshaped account.
 
Hey IRG,

thanks for a response. Got up at the crack of dawn this morning and saw my NNTP was downloading at 200kb which is about half of what i normally get when it's 4:55am. i'll give Mweb another call today. Really don't want to switch ISP as i have been happy with Mweb.

My P2P seems to behave as normal (for me at least) ... I barely ever get over 100kb/s. Testing now, running between 80 & 90....

can you pm that firmware i spoke to billion rep on mybb and googled etc(the firmware loads but its still locked), i cant unlock my 7401vgp ,mweb model, really want half bridge mode , atm i don't even get bridge mode :P

yeah he did pm me before, the one was wondering if you just backup yours and upload it if possible, maybe my router is just picky .

Bump @ Mweb chaps - any news on this. Site works perfectly on other networks except for Mweb. Tech feedback please.

Been getting tons of disconnects and sluggish performance the last week or two, can't wait for them to fix whatever's broken!

Is anyone else having extremely slow browsing speeds this morning? Just about every website I try either does not load, or takes very long (10+ minutes). I cannot even open www.mweb.co.za, the only ones that reliably open are www.google.co.za and www.mybroadband.co.za, and even these 2 are very slow.
I did some continuous pings to random websites, the response times are reasonable, but they all show around 19-22% packet loss.
 
My line was sitting at about 300k yesterday evening but seemed to sort itself out by this morning when I turned on the pc.

i had the same problem last night from about 7:30pm

Yes, all sites very slow. Have just rebooted router (Billion 7402G) and can now access news24.com, but slowly. MyBB which is normally fast is also still slow. Have not yet done a speed test. The line and MWEB access is 4 mbps. Thanks
