Does that mean any person that do other things than e-mail and browsing are Internet Addicts in the eye of the great Mweb provider?
 
Bleh. Damn BSOD is caused by my wireless PCI card. And there are no old or new drivers which upsets me but that's what you get for 150 bucks :P

anyway, NNTP is slow... again. torrents, non existent.
 
Really, I haven't used the Mweb news server in months and today it's just dead? o.o
Thought it would've improved, this is just sad and frustrating.

Come now. That was never implied. I know people who average 200GB and have never received any warnings.

The people who download in excess of 500GB every month are quite clearly on the wrong product. They are degrading the experience of all other users. There's absolutely no reason to download that much anyway t_t
 
I am managing to connect now using Mweb news.. but Astraweb still does not connect... Connects but no data transfer..

The problems of last week seem to be back...

Who are you to say what volume people need to download. I talk experience matey, that's practically all I could manage to achieve on a 4M Mweb account the last two months.
 
My uncapped 384 account is completely dead. Won't even connect. Is it just me?
 
My 1mb is fine. Durban area.

Speeds also back to normal. Still trying to sort out that BSOD :wtf:
 
On my 4Mbps account in JHB, nntp is dead (< 10kB/s) and one-click filehosts are slow (<25kB/s). The only thing that's working other than browsing is torrents although it's not exceptional performance. A torrent with almost 30000 possible seeds is running at about 110kB/s.
 
Streaming seems to be limited again - getting max 80KBps on a 4mb line :(

No.. SSL news server connections are shaped... I use astraweb SSL all the time..
 
My International is very slow at the moment..

International news servers timeout.. websites are very slow.

local content is fine..

My problem from last week and the week before is back.. (Mweb guy)...
