News servers (Mweb and international) dead since 3pm.

Try bouncing your router, feck knows what they did that requires a router bounce. Got home and tested NNTP to Giga and timed out. Bounced the router and getting 40KB/s.

Download Speed: 3070 kbps (383.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 428 kbps (53.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: -1 ms

Y am i capping at 3Mb, even on speedtest.net

Evening Kokarot, your line reading reflects that it is syncing at 3704.

Mweb guy my speeds have increase on Speedtest but still suffer on the downloading side. What do you suggest?

I have restarted my router. Still no luck with Mweb's news server.

What is going on ?????:confused::confused:

No dude, no amount of rebooting or reseting will stop shaping and throttling as it has nothing to do with you.

If you want proper speeds i suggest you jump ship because mweb is not providing it anymore :(.

streaming to justin.tv broken again :(

EDIT: MWEB Guy, I got a call from a lady at Mweb today, saying the same that you said - namely that the engineers are looking at it and will provide feedback when they can. However - this is now almost a week since Shane escalated the call to the network division (or whatever), and there is still no more feedback?

How long should I wait for feedback from them? Surely it should be quick to figure out if there is a problem or not? I mean, it happens pretty well every damn night, so reproducing it is not a problem?

This is frustrating as hell, really really dissapointing :(

EDIT2: streaming from gomtv.net also broken

I can understand your frustration, I will get into contact with them immediately.
