means it ain't cached, not cached hardly pick up speeds at all, even at 1m it stays that speed.
i am torrenting at 100kbs, but m news is also 30kbs, because it ain't cached.

You're wrong I'm afraid. This has only started happening since 1 July and it happens on Atraweb, Unison and local mweb. And when I VPN into the States it goes full speed (but that's cirumventing shaping)...

There was a slight dip in International browsing. It is now resolved.
Please reboot your router and test again.

I am unable to connect to Mweb's news server.
Does anybody else have the same problem?
Yes - Mweb have been messing around with news server all month. Don't expect a response from them though...

International and local are fine for me now.
Ok, I am able to ping the Mweb news server, but are unable to connect to it. Any suggestions?

Yep. Change ISP's. I did. Not one single problem since I dropped MWEB 2 months ago.

Not only international but local aswell. Everything is slow now. Can they look into this. This is happening on my home and business account. This is driving me nuts. Can we have some update that someone is actually looking into this. I will call them tomorrow again. Please have a update
