I would just like to thank Mweb for the brilliant service I have received.

I've been a Mweb subscriber since they acquired the Netactive accounts and have never had a problem until 3 weeks ago when a fault developed on my line. I posted here that I was having problems and within an hour Mwebguy had contacted me and started assisting me.

They handled all the communication with Telkom, so I didn't have to go through the frustration of trying to get hold of someone. They kept me up to date with what was going on and called to see what had happened every time a Telkom techie had been out here.

Thanks to everyone at Mweb who helped with the problem and for the excellent customer service you provide.

Mweb Guy, timeouts again. Your tech phoned me, he knew nothing, did nothing. Just took the same info you did, said something about shaping.....then said he would log it. He did absolutely nothing except asking which router i have rofl.

Seriously, after almost 2 weeks of reporting this that is what i get? After i gave you evidence and you recreated the error on the test bench that is what i get?

But this is bull****. We are getting timeouts. Its your network. Its not just an individual fault. Your techie didnt even know what my issue was. He says shaping can cause timeouts in cmd.....Absolutely ridiculous. Watch, there will come nothing of this logged fault. It takes you guys ages to admit there is a problem even.

Having issues AGAIN... cant load UK based websites... bbc.co.uk etc.. very intermittent

Same problem here. News server is dead for the last 2 days. Unable to connect to it or even ping it.

I am in Pretoria.

Internet slow as hell since yesterday

i wish i could do that , but i am connect to you guys via Amobia so i don't have that information, only my services provider has that kind of information :(
but i am also talking to a friend who is connected directly and we have been experiencing the same problem.

Zaphod, please provide me pings and tracers to news.mweb.co.za; as well as your MWEB email address.
 
Seems like my speeds have been sorted after speaking to my service provider,i just need to check up with my other friend who is connected directly to to mweb if his is sorted as well. Amobia:love:

Thanks for the informatin guys, I tested the CPT server which is fine at the moment. I have escalated your query to our network team to test the JHB server. I am awaiting there feedback.
