My Mweb account is completely dead. :( My saix account waorks just fine...

I see black ops is slow. I'm getting lag spikes. One minute it's ok and then the next it's like 999 ping

Still having an issue here, strange thing is my IS uncapped account is dead as well. Switch over to my 3GB capped SAIX account and my internet works flawlessly.

MOrning Nookie, this is strange; please see the direct message I have sent you.

WOW! Brilliant service MWEB Guy!
I thought this was gonna be a mission.

MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thanks Blender, I will keep you informed regarding your request.

Kind regards, MWEB Guy

Lag spikes again today, the timeouts continue.

Afternoon Sillicur, please advise which games you are playing and if you are possibly raiding? Please also provide me screenshots, tracers and pings in order for me to add to your existing query.

Kind regards, MWEB Guy

Oh my dear Christ. I have already given you allot AND you replicated the results on your test bench. Proving that there is an issue.

I play wow, not raiding at all atm. Doing arena. Even out of wow i get timeouts in the cmd at random times. 1 timeout is enough to disconnect you from most games, sometimes its a few after each other, sometimes not. The game does not even hit 6kb/s in arena. So its not my bandwidth profile.

Mweb Guy, I have probably done more than you to resolve this issue. I have given you all that info previously and 2 weeks later, 1 techie call that has no clue whats going on. Thats it, no progress at all.

Hi Sillicur,

As previously mentioned, please provide us with the traceroute and ping results as we speak in order for us to investigate further. The reason we request a traceroute and ping results all the time is in order for us to get an understanding of what you are experiencing at this present moment.

Regards,
MWEB Guy

Still having an issue with uk based sites...

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

Hi zakdoc,

Please provide me with traceroute and ping results to the UK sites in order for us to look into this further.

Regards,
MWEB Guy

Maybe share the ip you are pinging and getting the timeout from so we can ping/pathping for comparison?

Mweb Guy, either you have forgot what the problem is like I reported for you or you are trying to get people to give up. You know, since we have talked about this, that i said the timeouts occur a few times a day. For me to past it for you would mean I have to catch it at the exact moment, which i did before and I did paste it for you. I am experiencing the same issue as then, what more of an idea to you need to have about the issue? Your network times out at certain random times. Fix your ****ing network. Just about getting sick and tired of your crap and letting your customers jump through your hoops.

@Prophet, I ping jolt.co.uk It does not time out on either telkom or afrihost so it has to be the Mweb network. I am complaining about timeouts at random times during the day. So at this exact moment for instance there are no timeouts at all.

@Mweb Guy: You keep asking for more information, i gave your techie allot of info as well. You just keep asking for information and I get 0 response back as to progress on the fault. You said so yourself here on these forums that you recreated the issue on your test bench, so you know its not an individual issue, you know its your network . So instead of me having to do the grunt work why the **** dont you guys do it, seeing as you could recreated the problem on your test bench and you know the nature of my problem really well. Timeouts at random times of the day.

Just shows me you didnt listen one ****ing word when you asked me again if i am raiding when it occurs. If you were close to me i would punch u in the face when you asked that. You KNOW, having told you multiple times that even out of game in windows cmd it happens. If i said "yeh im raiding" then you would have blamed it on my bandwidth profile again.

I would like a serious response or your network to be fix this week.

This happens, not just one website, anything i do. It lags. Then it just stops again, with nice ping no lag. Then a hour later it happens again. Goes like this to any site. Lag in any game when it happens. No timeouts on afrihost or telkom.

hmm i am thinking its p.e to cpt route issue, both your afrihost and telkom would route to joburg, do you have a cpt isp to test? aka webafrica and cybersmart will route to capetown

If I may ask what general area are you in CT, PTA, JHB?

To me it seems clearly like an issue with how you are connected to the mweb network and from there out. Not your equipment or dslam of course, just way you "feed into" the grid.

Do a trace and pathping as well so we can see how you are routed please, I'll do few pathpings tonight and tomorrow for comparison sake.

Thanks for the information Sillicur, you refer to international timeouts; however you've only provided us a tracer to jolt and a ping to play.tm. Please provide us continuous pings, path ping tests and tracers to these sites as well; perhaps include Google as well. The more information we have the easier for the technicians to assist you. Your query is currently still open, we would like to ensure that it is concluded.

Please note that our tracers and pings to jolt are not timing out as it did when we confirmed that we could replicate your problem. (therefore the information request, network team cannot replicate at the moment).
