Still getting constant time outs on websites, and have for several months now. Today is especially bad, this includes all sites, local and international.

[EDIT] It even timed out posting this. And no I'm not doing anything in the background, the connection is not shared, etc etc etc. Just plain browsing. Also, the speed test shows fine speeds on the mweb speed tester.

I have had numerous phone calls from Mweb trying to help me, but none have managed to make an improvement.

Happens with IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

Hi Gimaru

As per your last discussion with our technical specialist you would communicate any reoccurring instances.

Thank you for the feedback I will arrange for one of the specialist to contact and assist you with your query.

Kind regards
MWEB Guy

Good Morning Sillicur, as per your record you are currently doing a reboot. Please let me know if the reboot improves your browsing experience.

Nothing has changed. Just got a bunch of timeouts again Mweb Guy. Its going on 3 weeks now and there has not really been an improvement. I have supplied you with all the relevant information multiple times. More than one person have confirmed the same issue. Looking at the last few pages I can see allot of timeout related issues being reported.

Nope still trying to connect left it for some time during the night nothing happened trying again this morning and so far still not connecting :(

You know what is really sad, almost every person that posts something on this section, have a BACKUP account because of the unreliable service of MWEB's internet. I am so disappointed at their service, at this stage it is not even SAD anymore, it is beyond SAD.

They started off so GREAT and now at this stage it does not look good but is any other ISP even better that offers an uncapped ADSL 4mb service ?

I think after my 6 month contract I will be moving...unless of course mweb can get back to what they were like...

I left MWEB a couple months ago, but still come to this thread evey once in a while to see how things are going.

At the moment I am on Openweb GOLD and couldn't be happier. No messed FUP, no throttling. It just works.

Lol netflix on mweb uncapped sucks.

Think i am going to move to capped afrihost it works like a charm

I wonder if mweb sees this as bypassing shapping?

Busy testing now, the browsing time outs seem to have some what improved using IE 9, after I updated from 8. It still does it constantly on Chrome and Firefox though, but IE9 is a vast improvement so far (hope).
